Nine Perfect Strangers

If they're so perfect than how come they're strangers? I'm not normally for sitting down for hour long shows that take their time, but I was invested in this throughout and that is no small feat. I liked just about all of the characters and their arcs. If the payoff didn't land like I hoped, than I guess it didn't, I'll live.

All of the characters are interesting and the show allows them good arcs dealing with their respective traumas. It desperately wanted to be (and marketed itself as) as a thriller in a way that didn't work, and unfortunately undermined the more mundane drama surrounding their character arcs that was actually much more interesting.

This is really boring! And, despite the great cast, the acting is mediocre at best. Nicole Kidman is horrible!

Not sure on the meta ending and there are definitely some pacing problems, but I still don't feel sorry I watched it. The cast interaction and overall oddness is entertaining enough to hold a limited series. If it was ongoing I would have more reservations.

Another well made limited TV series adaptation from a novel. Unique story and excellent performances.

It's got a great cast. The idea is a little odd, but it's a good scenario to put some great actors together and create some interesting situations for those characters to interact with each other. The ending was both good and not as good as it could have been, but I still loved the characters. Apparently this has been renewed, but honestly I have zero idea where the next season would go. I'll still watch it though, if it's anything like the quality of this season.

Michael Shannon participating in a potato sack race isn't something I ever expected to see. Sure, I've dreamt it, but I didn't expect to actually see it.

This is quite a trippy one. The drugs take over you too. Kidman is just amazing. But it just lacks something that I can’t put my finger on. Decent watch but not amazing, especially with that extreme happy ending

I fancy the cast and the overall story, but the show is painfully missing on the thriller part. The series would have really benefited from more suspense and edge-of-your-seat twists, but alas...
