Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension - In Fabulous 2D

Worth watching if you're a fan of the show (like me when I was younger). It contains some well-written jokes and humor. The movie has a lot of good moments, but it's certainly not great or anything. I still would recommend it though.

Oh goodness, I remember the hype of this movie. Me seven years ago began freaking out the minute she heard about this and continued to freak out until the night it premiered. I don't think anything has lived up to my own personal hype like this movie did. It was everything I wanted and more.

Few children's cartoons today, at least the televised ones, can boast quality like Phineas and Ferb. The show plays on words, common entertainment tropes, and is just plain fun to watch for kids and adults. The film not only maintain the continuity of the show but also its quality entertainment. It will lose those not familiar with the show however, but they would do well to catch a few episodes anyway.

So, kids like this stuff? No wonder they end up having ADHD and shit. Very kinetic, very random and loud 'modern' TV animation. There were some grown-up jokes in this, which positively surprised me. I would totally collect Existentialist Trading Cards!

I wanted to like this movie, I really did. So much of it was awesome and great, but there was one part of it that really dragged the movie down, Without spoilers a character finds out about something and acts out of character when after they figure it out. It was a major nagging thing that mess up an otherwise great tv movie of a great tv show. Still if you can get past that constant irritation the movie is worth watching if you are a fan.
