Excellent premise. Top-notch cinematography, acting, and direction. But, given how little it delivered in the first season, the story is being stretched beyond its limits – or they don't quite know what to do with the material.

S1-60 Interesting idea, ultimately frustrating characters pretty hollow content

A show made for Tiktok addicts, since you can doomscroll through the whole series and not miss a thing. Takes an intriguing premise and strangles it to death. The "protagonist" is intolerable and the few other humans are unbelievable.

It’s slow on screen, but rushed when it comes to character psychology. Slowness isn’t automatically depth, obscurity isn’t intelligence, and vagueness isn’t philosophical sophistication. - Full Review

A perfectly failed balance between the most fascinating storyworld premise in recent memory & the most uninteresting protagonist in years. Oh, what could have been...

Boring, concept could be interesting but it's quite slow and doesn't do much with the concept. The main character isn't interesting.

Story was good except the ending was frustrating to be continued to season 2 .

One of the most unique television shows, for sure. Team up again for Gilligan and Seehorn, it's fantastic to see Seehorn in a leading role. Premise was really interesting, and since watching the series it has fueled all sorts of crazy shower thoughts for me. I hate to say it, but I'd be far worse than Diabaté if I were in his shoes, so he was easily my favorite character. Looking forward to season 2.

What if you had a relationship with everyone in the world at once? This unusual premise is explored to great effect, bringing out plenty of anxiety, humour, tension, and satire of a world stripped of individuality. It’s the apocalyptic niceness that really sets the tension of the show and sustains it so damn well. But all this would've faltered without the terrific Seaborn to carry the many, many facets of her role.

This is such a masterpiece. The psychology behind the main character and her "fight to preserve her individuality and the right to be miserable" is just great to watch. Rhea Seehorn's acting is magnificent. The story, so simple yet interesting. The attention to details is god-like. Only Gilligan could pull this off. Wating for the second season.
