There's a certain pancake episode in here that deserves to be mentioned alongside the greatest sitcom episodes.

Absolutely hilarious, Andy Daly is perfect as a clueless life reviewer who earnestly believes in his job, no matter what. Brilliant conclusion to the show as well.

I think season 2 has elevated this to the status of bona fide great TV for me. At first, I just took it for a sketch comedy show. But it's actually a highly serialized tragic portrait of a man's self-made downfall... but hilariously so.

Daly is hilarious, and this show has some really funny writing. Also, it's not afraid to go dark. (2 seasons)

Along with Nathan for You, easily the funniest thing on TV right now.

I didn't see this when it came out but this is one of the most underrated comedies of all time. It's clever and sad and sweet.

Mildly amusing, but all together it is just another sketch show for me. I strongly dislike Forrest and don't believe in him as a character. (season 1)

This was funny in parts, but not good enough to justify watching the second season. The problem is that I'm just not on the same frequency as Andy Daly and don't have any real interest in his brand of sober, straight-faced humor. I can understand why this is a very popular show among its target audience, but it just doesn't cross the blood-brain barrier for me.

Andy Daly is one of the most entertaining performers on TV, and it's a good thing he found a show to match his incredibly specific approach to comedy.
