Runaways takes teen drama and applies that logic to adults. The show is based on a comic book, but its internal logic is still weak. It occasionally has good moments where the plot unfolds in an interesting manner or the characters act in a nuanced and mature way, but more often that not it's fairly benign. The cast is good, but the writing is weak.

An unsatisfying mix of adult drama and genre thrills, doing neither particularly well. They don't feel like real people, and at the same time, they don't feel like fun or interesting caricatures. Maybe "The Gifted" will be better...

S1: 55, S2: 58, S3: 65

First season was kind of ok. Second poor and third just nonsense. -10 points for Gert, one of the most annoying characters ever that I can remember. Didn't help that the voice/way of speaking of the actress also annoyed me immensively.

There's a lot to like here. Good characters, but I do feel like they maybe stretched this a little longer than it needed to be. While it wasn't as epic as other MCU movies or shows, it was still decent enough that I was disappointed in its cancellation. I wouldn't have minded more, but I think the seasons should have been shorter perhaps to tighten up the storytelling.

Molto diverso dal fumetto da cui è tratto, di cui non ha la stessa profondità. Le prime puntate sono noiose, poi va meglio: la qualità non migliora, ma la storia prende. Il vero problema è che gli eventi accadono in maniera randomica, senza uno sviluppo credibile dei personaggi. Succede tutto e il contrario di tutto, per culminare in una puntata finale raffazzonata che lascia aperte porte per mille storylines future, che non vedranno mai la luce vista la cancellazione.
