It took me over 8 hours to finish this 1-and-a-half-hour-long movie. This makes most Direct to DVD animated Scooby-Doo films seem like sophisticated cinema. The concept of a Ghoul School is great, but what they do with it is pathetic; the "monster" characters are nothing, the boys' military school is the single most boring plot device of all time, the villain is ridiculous, and the whole story is that which can only exist in a TV movie from 1988. Mind-numbing stuff.

This just reminds me that it's not just the new Scooby-Doo movies that suck.

Very dated villain who I've seen in a ton of '80s Saturday morning cartoons. Who decides to hire Shaggy and Scooby-Doo as gym teachers? The premise is decent but the rivalry with the military academy was quite juvenile. Fav scene: meeting the parents who were happy with the new teachers.

this time around the plot is slightly neglected, but it's still an alright scooby movie. seriously who came up with this idea?
