Always watched this back in the day; kind of the precursor to a lot of modern film criticism.

How I miss this show. Every time a film comes out, I wonder what they would say about it.

Especially loved when they disagreed.

I like Ebert's persona and enthusiasm for film, but he is undeservedly put on a god-tier pedestal by film buffs when in my rough estimation 60%+ of his reviews are wildly inconsistent save for the horniness (it got far worse in the last decade of his life). The reason I rate this as low as possible is because of Gene Siskel, who represents the Tipper Gore/Moral Majority perspective, in favor of censoring & doxxing filmmakers he didn't like - most of whom were doing harmless, entertaining trash.
