watchable

TV: Consistently entertaining crime caper show. Drama plotting is so-so but the acting and presentation elevates it a fair amount. Ribisi's performances in particular are just completely compelling. After a somewhat 'cute' first season, the leap in quality all round in the second season was quite impressive (as well as benefiting from the addition of some great cast members). S3 though was a bit of a contrived mess and honestly kind of jumped the shark for me. | S1:75 S2:79 S3:69

Season 1: 73

I was expecting something more light-hearted, so it was a bit surprising, positively, in the beginning. The first season, they wrapped up the story quite well and the impossible situations they created (a big difficulty in these kinds of settings) was all believable. The second season struggled in this category so it was not as engaging, but overall it is an interesting take on a con-man who is conning his way to the border of hell regularly; Ribisi excelled together with a great supporting cast

A fairly weak plot is amazingly bolstered by a great cast all around.

Very underwhelming

At times good,at times unlikely & at times trying to be a little bit too slick for it's own good
