I tried really hard to get into it, but never could. The best thing about Stargate SG-1 was interesting characters driving the plot, Atlantis has uninteresting characters moving along uninteresting plot. Yawn.

Never became as believable or interesting as the other Stargate Series. I even disliked the main characters.

Terrible in every way. Horribly bland; the cast, writing, story-lines and effects are all completely monotone and one dimensional.

There are a few good bits but overall it's a mess with a terrible ending.

Obviously I wasn't expecting it to be as good as SG-1, and was still disappointed. The plot is nothing more than a watered-down rehash of the latter that seems too afraid to try anything new, each character has one personality trait that they'll hammer in your face from beginning to end well past the point of being irritating (Why was Teyla there? She did absolutely nothing for the entire show), and the "scary" wraith are so unbelievably lame they'll make your children laugh. Mediocre at best.

A worthy spinoff to the greatest sci-fi series, at least after first season. It had its ups and downs, but more Stargate is hardly a bad way to spend time.
