Netflix has a great show in Sweet Tooth. It starts you off with a lot of questions and one by one they are answered. Dynamic visauls courtesy of the beautiful New Zealand set they chose to mimic the apocalytpic US wasteland. Christian Convery is fantastic as Gus the half human half deer child who is raised away from all the violence. Gus soon discovers he needs to venture out into the world to seek answers.

Season one is sort of good, but halfway through season two the problems with writing become too obvious, with some conflict borderline stupid. Dumped the show after the kids dropped Gus because he wanted to spare them the knowledge of their friend dying. Just got tired with the same old, worn out plot devices.

It meanders aimlessly for far too long, never really finds its footing. It feels like the writers are just as much in the dark as to which direction this show is heading as the viewer.

Season 1: Definitely feels like it has schizophrenia. It can't decide if it's a story of whimsy or horror. Still mostly enjoyed it and will watch for season 2.

A solid post apocalyptic world building fantasy. The cast is solid, the story simple, but not unintelligent. I think at times it has identity crisis with how friendly to make it , vs. the violence but it's nothing that took me out of it. The only other knock I have is its , "neat scenery/indie song moments" but I will definitely watch more.

Has lots of potential and leaves itself plenty of room for expansion. Stylish, with a solid cast. Declines significantly in Season 2 and 3. S1: 74, S2: 53, S3: 48.
