Ted

Starts like a fairly legit and occasionally pretty funny follow-up/prequel to the Ted films, but Seth MacFarlane uses that to Trojan horse in a take on All In the Family that by the season’s latter half is mostly the family arguing about politics and the smart liberal niece repeatedly and easily besting the dumb bigoted conservative dad - Twitter addiction brain rot claims another writer lol

S1: 70

It’s markedly better than both of the films, neither of which I particularly liked, and the concept just works better as a series. The cast are all pretty good too.

The "but they got him" clip made me binge the series. Matty and Ted's improv dynamic is charming, relatable, and often fairly funny. It risked getting a bit too sentimental, so stopping at two seasons was probably for the best. It's nice to see Giorgia Whigham in more shows because she's a celebrity crush of mine.

Seth MacFarlane's crude humor translates surprisingly well to a full TV series, with Ted and John still making an entertaining duo. The show has plenty of ridiculous jokes and doesn't take itself seriously, while the mystery surrounding John's childhood gives the story some added substance. The humor can be repetitive and some episodes feel like extended versions of the same joke, but the chemistry between the characters keeps it moving.

le baja dos o 3 escalones al humor de las peliculas de ted haciendo que pierda la esencia de lo que es el personaje

This was a really fun show. I didn't expect too much, but I found myself laughing out loud a bunch, and ended up binging the whole thing. I was also very impressed by the quality of the CGI for Ted. That's not the level you typically get to see from a TV series, but I guess after The Orville, that shouldn't surprise me. Seth MacFarlane has really been delivering lately.
