A curse has followed this franchise post-T2 (call it the Ghost of Cameron Past) - every single attempt to continue the story has wound up as either terrible fanfiction or, in this show's case, prematurely cancelled. Which is sad because TSCC was probably the most entertaining and well thought-out of all the (3? 4? 5?) alternate timelines we now have to choose from. It just underscores the fact that this franchise should have ended in 1991.

I wanted to love this (T2 is pretty much my favorite movie ever), and it does have some fun action and, like T2, amusing scenes of the Terminator trying to fit into society. It just dragged for me though, and wasn't very well-plotted. I dropped out during season 2 and never finished it.

Actually quite good, too bad it didnt make it

There's a lot to like about this show. It doesn't quite live up to the best of the Terminator series, but Lena Headey is awesome as Sarah Connor, and Summer Glau is also great. A lot of people would argue that this series is the best thing that's come from the franchise since T2. I don't know if I'd necessarily agree with that, but it's still a really fun time.

The second season got interesting, and then the show was cancelled. Summer Glau can't seem to catch a break. It's on par, if not better than T3 and everything that followed.

Boy was this a torturous experience. It starts out pretty good and continues to be decent throughout the first season but by the second season it all goes to shit fast. If it was the first season I'd give it a 68, if it was only the second season I'd give it about a 23, so instead it gets a 41.
