(S1-2) 13-year-old me found Raven joyously entertaining, and her stereotypically girly style, the most squealingly fun aesthetic since the Spice Girls. Season 1 still holds up as a sitcom, but season 2 is as bad as any other Disney Channel show I've been forced to sit through. The dad looks like a black Richard Kind, and Raven is a female John Stamos when it comes to being one of those actors that sing way too much for someone with no vocal ability.

How to be a Disney kid: 1)Overact like a mofo by over enunciating every word. 2)Always be the center of attention, regardless of context. 3)Always appear to be extra excited while saying your lines, even though they were probably written by a computer after typing in "teen dialogue" 4)Ham it up until you're rich enough to be a dick in the media and walk away from Disney forever. This show makes Saved By The Bell look Oscar worthy.
