Dramatics are the same warmed-over blah but boy this shines when it's silly, which it is more interestingly and often than any other piece of network prestige crapola. Dylan Baker as a pretentious Cockney method actor who plays his wife-killing primary character in a Law & Order parody. GIRL WALK // ALL DAY's Anne Marsen in a multi-ep arc as a tutor whose only function is to extol the virtues of dancing in public. Michael J. Fox's Parkinson's funding Big Pharma. And Josh Charles is fucking foxxy

good series

It has some problems (a few of Kalinda's storylines don't work, parts of season six seem forced) but overall this is one of the best dramas ever. Incredible writing, acting, and direction (episodes that take place inside Alicia's head are surprisingly experimental). Also, this show made me realize how rarely adult characters actually act like adults. In this show the line between young and old, child and parent, inexperienced and experienced is better explored than in any other show I've seen.

So boring and predictable. Woman lawyer solves everything, always. End of plot.

After seeing season 1

First few seasons were great, after that not good at all

Based on the first episode, it seems like standard TV.

If anything, check out season 5.

Julianna was nominated 5 times for the Emmy between 2009 and 2015 and won it twice. I'm not really sure how they didn't give it to her every time, or didn't just rename the award after her. The rest of the cast is awesome as well, most of the episodes well directed and some are real art piece. I'm probably getting a bit ahead of myself, but I would bet on this being the best show of the decade.
