The Joe Rogan Experience

Hard to rate because I skipped so much, but the classic episodes (Burr, Stanhope, Trussell, the non pseudo-scientists etc.) are great. The bad reputation in some quarters is earned - Rogan is a moron who fell for Jordan Peterson among so many other con men, and rails against trans women in sports like they're the biggest problem on Earth. There was a drop off in quality since 2017, and I stopped listening when it went to Spotify.

At one point I use to like Joe's podcast because while Joe's insight was kinda shit he was still playing a good host and was curious about the things his guests were saying. Nowadays, it feels like he lost his curiosity and just caters to a lot of boring right-wing loonies. Sometimes he'll still land a decent guest who'll either have decent insight or be a popular person who ends up looking unflattering on the podcast but most of the time the conversation is to boring for me to care.

At turns interesting and abrasive, though the like dozen hours or whatever of content a week makes it inaccessible if you tend to be a completionist with things like I am.

Some good content but mostly its just forgettable fluff.
