Bean to Agent: After doing LoTR, I feel I'm being typecast. You think we could get something different this time? Agent: Already on it. Picture this--you're clad in leather, ride a horse, shoot arrows-- Bean: But that sounds like-- Agent: Shhh. You'll be in a war against a race of orc-like beasts, and set out on a journey to find a special item that can save humankind. Bean: But-- Agent: It's in the future! Bean: Oh, in that case... Do I at least get a normal name? Agent: No, Amal. Bean: (weeps)

Some serious technical errors, but a decent movie. For example a "cave man" who has never seen a door before realizes it hasn't been opened because of the dust on it...where did he even learn about dust?

Take zombies and replace them with cavemen, take a virus and replace it with genetic engineering, and voila! You have a post-apocalyptic caveman movie. Nothing terribly new here. Not badly made, but the material just isn't that great. Delving a bit deeper into some themes just barely touched upon could have improved things slightly.
