If you haven't read this already: this isn't as good as the original but still fine. It's the most common line on this and it is true, just ask the hundreds who have said exactly that.

There are a lot of silly and downright lazy episodes, and it's hard to watch them in this day and age.

A poor successor to the genius of the original, and mostly mediocre on it's own.

After a mostly good first season, which features some real wit and vivid experiments in the new format (Friedkin's "Nightcrawlers" is a small masterpiece of film-for-TV) the Bad Spielberg banality seeps in and it gets to seeming like every episode is either some imitation O. Henry sap or some sap chasing a hot piece of ghost ass. The spectre of the bomb is frequently felt, but as subject its treatment is glib and gutless. Egoyan's ep has some primo proto-vaporwave vibes, though.

Muito heterogênea, mas alguns episódios são bem criativos e/ou interessantes. Dentre os que eu vi, destaco A message from Charity (S1E15), Dealer's choice (S1E20), Her Pilgrim Soul (S1E28), A matter of minutes (S1E38), To see the invisible man (S1E40), Profile in Silver (S1E49), The library (S1E55), Shadow Play (S1E56), The Toys of the Caliban (S2E10), The convict's piano (S2E11), The curious case of Edgar Witherspoon (S3E1) and Memories (S3E6).

A lot of misses and impossible to live up to the original but still enough decent episodes to get by on.

Variable, a bit wildly. Keepers include 'A Message from Charity', 'The burning man', 'Dealer's Choice', 'A little peace and quiet' and 'Gramma'.
