Sometimes all you want is a broad, bawdy farce, and this show fits the bill.

An 'annoying' contest, with only winners. Happy sunshine depiction of its era. Terry was the best blonde by FAR (I want to throw a brick at Chrissy's face until I get bored) and as a bonus she could nurse Janet's daily nervous breakdowns. Jack pronounces. Everyone is always one aggressive jumping jack away from showing their asshole. The Ropers were the highlight for me, even though the Mrs. was always lurking for love. P.S. So let me get this straight (pun intended) Mr. Roper was so morally outraged at the idea of unmarried men and women living together (God forbid they have sex) but was perfectly cool renting to a gay man? REALLY!!! This ultra conservative curmudgeon???Because there's no way a gay man could ever invite men over to have sex with, you know, while The Ropers are sleeping! Such a ridiculous premise. I want to see a spin off where the Ropers open an abortion clinic, but only for married couples.

One of the better sitcoms at the time when I watched this in the 80's. I was a kid then I didn't know what the story line was here. Later to find out Jack pretended to be gay to live with 2 girls because the landlord would only allow that. Again as a kid didn't understand all that. I just liked Jack with the girls who were all on this series. Also who was funnier Roper or Furly.

Likable stuff.

One of the few comedies from its time that held up even a little bit. Kinda of weird that the poster is from the post-Suzanne Somers era, though.
