Edgy, teeny, cliche, try to be a big rebel and refreshing shot but instead it makes it even worse.

Ugh. Style over substance to the extreme.

I so badly wanted to like this but only watched the first series and change because it is in fact so so dull and overwrought. Good things were the hawk and dove episodes, everyone being absurdly attracted to Dick, and Starfire’s overall way of being. Lame things were all the filler, dick being over serious, Starfire’s plot-thwarting amnesia, and a general refusal to ever move the story forward.

PSI 73? Come on, Criticker. The first season is not too bad, although excessively violent without real reason and there are several generic characters that you should care for but you don't. There's also this huge buildup and they finish the season with a cliffhanger. Then I watched the first episode of Season two. It had such a lame cop-out solution to the whole Season 1 buildup that I won't be watching this again. Dropped 15 from my initial score. Shoot the writers. Or better yet: avoid.

Generic CW TV Show But Edgy fails to make me give a shit.

I didn't really enjoy the first season of Titans. The show is built up as dark and edgy, but I found it to be needlessly violent, slow and a bit boring at times. I didn't really like any of the characters, who all are some variation of pouty, whiny, troubled by their past and irritating.

Really enjoyed this series. I didn't have high expectations so I was pleasantly surprised. The acting was great, the pacing was alright save the last episode which was a bit wobbly.

Likeable and entertaining, if admittedly never doing anything particularly new or exceptional. The cast are solid, the CGI is woeful and the writing is good enough to get the series themes across. Not bad. S1: 65, S2: 40.
