Toy Story does fine for vignettes but never has the punch of a full-scale film. Enjoyable.

Good stuff. Surprisingly, this 20 minute short is no less (or, at least, not far less) enjoyable than the full-length features in the franchise.

Toy Story of Terror is a nice little addition to the franchise and it serves well as a short. It would be unfair to make a comparison against the feature films as content wise this episode only has 20 minutes to work with. I think this is definitely on a par with the Toy Story Toons though and the key ingredients of what makes an enjoyable Toy Story adventure are here. There are far too many characters and simply not enough time for them all but Carl Weathers is a great addition as Combat Carl.

A silly little TV special. Obviously doesn't stack up to the movies but can still be enjoyable if you're merely craving for more misadventures starring the toys you know and love. At least it had a character development mini-arc for Jessie.

Fact they needed the hedgehog fellow to explain the jokes show this needn't have been made, quite enjoyed the alien take-off scene though.

Far too much meta and far too few gags that actually work. Imagine a third-rate animated Cabin in the Woods with an insufferable narrator explaing each reference. And if you're asking, "why would I imagine that? It sounds awful." you're getting the point. Also, while I might not be in the target audience, I can't really imagine this being any fun for small children, who don't know the slasher horror flicks this is trying to parody.

Nice to see the toys back, and in a concise 20-minute special. There isn't a lot of time for the characterisation like in the films, but there's enough time for the usual toy banter, scary spooks, and thrilling set-pieces. It's not ground-breaking animation, but I could do with a few more of these, though maybe with a little less Mr Pricklepants.
