Ughh another one of these soft sci-fi series about a bunch of misfits (the sexy one, the ethnic one, the spacker, the screw up). Too many characters, too formulaic

First season was ok, but it wasn't special enough to make me want to watch season 2 and beyond. Too cliché, not original enough.

uneven series. some episodes are solid. some not. overall plot is not catchy. (finished s02 and cannot remember why and what is happening ;] )

fills a rare niche of slightly corny drama you can escape to after watching something more harrowing/difficult. I'd give season 1 a lower rating. ----- edit. upped this a point. i miss its alt take on our reality. (that one-step remove). and can't really think of a show that feels like this from the last ~20 years.

Pretty good though uneven. Cheese warning, but it's a US show so what else would you expect. Some interesting characters (Trevor, Philip, Grace). Main villain had great potential but didn't get enough treatment and it would have helped if the show was focused on the main story. I'm sure they were planning to drag it out to seven seasons so it's a good thing it got cancelled after three, because this way it maintained at least some focus.

Look at the ratings and just answer me why it got cancelled. It has one of the best love stories ever, and I am not that much into romance.

By far,the most smart time travel show written

Good story line but very slow

Too many go no where B stories than make you forget the interesting main plot driving me to keep watching. season 3: TDB, cornball start... dialogue terrible. i'm hoping the blonde and fat bf get written out. season 2: improved over season 2.. interesting timey wimey stuff going on towards mid season. skip the side family stories.. main plot lines (any scenes with mccormack) are good stuff. season 1: interesting take on time travel. picked up in last half of season.
