Undone

I'm a fan of the rotoscoping technique. It fits the material to a T, and so does the Möbius strip-like narrative. (2 seasons)

I don't say this often but this was truly delightful. Salazar shaping up to be the Keanu Reeves of this generation (minus the involuntary goofiness, plus the top-notch acting). I love the homage to the Scanner Darkly poster, and unlike SD, the rotoscoped animation is put to excellent use narratively. It's a fucking blast. Watch it now! (My DMs are open if you want to thank me for the recommendation. You're welcome.)

An absolute masterpiece. Visually, TOP on every level. Cool animation techniques reflect the story. Script is perfectly balanced between science fiction and psychological generational trauma elements. Lovely developed and played characters. Funny and emotional as well.

The first season is a insightful depiction of someone losing her grip on reality. Or at least very ambigu about if the protagonist is mentally ill or really has supernatural powers. The second season does away mostly with that ambiguity and goes all out parallel universes fantasies. The series never really delivers on its promise of its first season, but S2 still has enough poignant and fun moments to give the series overall a very positive grade.

first season was 100% amazing. Second season... meh so far.

(s1 80, s2 85) a solid emotional family story wrapped around time fuckery, blurring the lines of schizophrenia and shamanism. season 2 gets pretty wild in mostly good ways

Interesting, but also extremely tryhard at times, especially during season 2. The art is nice, so is the acting and the setting, if only the script did better work at keeping me hooked. I think it has a lot to do with seasons dropping at once instead of week by week, the show could have done with more suspense and time to think about each episode.

I have a bipolar disorder. This is the best expression of manic trip(psychos) i have ever seen on screen. Maybe you have a bipolar or schizophrenic friend or a sister, brother, mother, father, lover.. If you want to understand our manic episodes-attacks, just watch this series carefully.
