US III continues the tradition of being a little above-average in general but not-as-good as the original.

Probably the worst movie in the series, although personally I dislike the second one more. Whearas the previous shitty sequel has a lot of coherency, and even a commendable tautness, this is just a blur of tropish imagery and dialogue.

As bad as the second movie, but now with child soldiers and less naked men.

Certainly not a great film, but it was at least entertaining enough to get through without too much difficulty. One of the problems is the production values are so low it constantly looks cheap, which really doesn't go well with the futuristic setting. The acting is also quite mediocre.

Watched this right after the second one and maybe it was just my brain getting numb but US3 didn't feel as funny as previous entry in the series.

If possible, it's even more ridiculous than the second one. Great fun.

Much like the Unisols themselves, this franchise has been kept alive long past the point where it should have died a natural death.
