WCW Monday Nitro

Never on par with the WWF at it's height, this show felt like you could walk away for 40 minutes and not miss any actual wrestling.

WCW had some great talent that was ultimately squandered by the higher ups in favor of far less talented names like Hogan and Goldberg. The show has a number of great matches, such as the bouts between Ric Flair and Vader and many matches featuring DDP and the cruiserweights. In WCW's later years however, there was a notable decline in quality both in matches and promos. WCW kept pushing worthless talent no one wanted to see and kept making awful decisions, leading to their downfall.

Used to like this back then because I liked the NWO, Cruiser weights and Bill Goldberg. Also their midcard talent like Jericho and the Raven's Flock. I felt at the time that this was presented as a sports venue like you are watching hockey. In 1998 I predicted that wwe would buy wcw just because they were focusing on nwo for another year etc. Then was bought 3 years later.
