Walking with Dinosaurs

The CGI is obviously dated now, as is the science, but at the time this show was mind-blowing. I don't get the hate.

Soundtrack is good. Stories are good. Narration is good. CGI is dated, but the close-ups (with real models) still look great. Not sure why everybody seems to hate it. Maybe I'm unable to judge it properly since I enjoyed it so much as a kid.

Decently animated for a TV series in the late 90's. Still incredibly dated now, but for fans of the subject matter or kids it would be enjoyable.

As one of those that had a significant 'dinosaur phase' as a child I find this -and all the other CGI dinosaur stuff that's followed- horribly shallow, inauthentic and misleading.

Always hated this fake looking bs.

Enjoyable enough on it initial release, if obviously gimmicky. Its spawned many unfortunate CGI-alikes since.
