WeCrashed

The intolerance that many in my generation feel toward Ashton Kutchner, i never felt it, but i feel it towards Jared Leto. He’s just insufferable and makes me angry every second he’s on screen. He’s a bad, bad over-actor, with bad fake accents and a dominant life sucking presence that is best likened to a coked up office clown. The pilot catches fire instantly and crashes and burns within a few minutes, while needle drops are blaring over the smoldering corpse.

Wow, another serious "TV series of the year" candidate. The chemistry between Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway are amazing. Songs, cinematography and camera works are also very good. I have to say that they did the storytelling quite on point. First episode was one of the best TV episodes I've ever watched. It is possible to say that Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway will be nominated for a very serious Emmy contender. My rating may up or down later.

It was alright. The portrayal of Adam and especially Rebekah are way too soft, we shouldn't get to sympathize with them yet it seems like the show is trying hard to achieve that. Well I'm sorry, they're both absolutely trash human beings and I won't feel any pity for them. Their employees suffered, the people at their service suffered, they are awful toxic people. The actors did decent work though.

Entertainment: 4. Spirit: 1. Sustainability: 1.5. Family: 1

While it slows down a lot towards the back of the middle of the series, WeCrashed at its best is a fun yet bleak portrayal of one of late-stage capitalism's greatest hits with a stellar central performance from Anne Hathaway. This definitely proves that some podcasts can be adapted into prestige TV, and that is a very intriguing possibility especially with some of Wondery's catalog.

The show is run of the mill pump the tempo up type of success story. Though the duo is excellingly good, I wasn't aware Jared Leto is this talented. He makes the unbreakable, charismatic ceo act plausible.
