Yellowjackets

This is quality TV and feels like an instant cult classic (or is that everything with Juliette Lewis in it feels like a cult classic!?)

Tried it 3 times since 2021 thinking i hadn't seen it but stranded everytime. I have to add this to criticker so i'll know i shouldn't try again. The acting is very awkward and embarrassing, especially Juliette Lewis

OK, this is actually pretty decent 5 episodes in. It's completely batshit and over the top, but its still got good enough actors to be captivating. I will continue the journey.

Il problema di questa serie sono le aspettative create dal pilot, che era una bomba: prometteva "Il signore delle mosche" ed è diventato un thriller con una spruzzata di soprannaturale, alla Lost. Resta comunque una serie avvincente, scritta e recitata bene; il mio gradimento è influenzato in negativo dal fatto che detesto una delle protagoniste, per fortuna però c'è Misty (straordinaria Christina Ricci) che da sola vale la visione.

This show is really good. The cast is fantastic, and the mystery for the plane crash survivors is really fascinating. Had a really good time watching this and am eagerly awaiting season 2! EDIT: Season 2 wasn't quite as good as 1, but still pretty solid.

Menstruation, virginity, boyfriends, condoms, lesbianism, alcohol, drugs: like the Peanuts comic strip, this concerns relationships between young people in a situation divorced from both house and school, here mostly girls and wrapped in a kind of mystery in which we also see their adult pathologies. All gets a bit ridiculous, but there are some amusing moments and it benefits from a pretty good cast. Much of the 1990s music evoked memories of my university days. Score based on the first season.

Almost everything I love in a show, wrapped in a gorgeous, atmospheric package.

Only saw some of the first scenes, and concluded that I would be bored to death if I finished the episode. Since I cannot be sure that I would find some value in it along the way, I wont rate it even lower.

İkinci sezon , çok iyi başladı, ancak final tam bir çorba. Üzdü finali maalesef. Üçüncü sezon olur mu çok emin değilim. Bu nedenle 1.sezonda verdiğim notu (81'den) 60'a indiriyorum.

This is a fascinating series. It sets up a mystery right off the bat. Casting and acting: fabulous. Melanie Lynskey is underrated. It comes across as teen drama in the first episode. It’s not. So don’t touch the remote!

This rate is for the first season. I don't plan to start the second season.

Christina Ricci and Juliette Lewis supremacy

The casting is impeccable. Great show about how trauma can manifests itself. Season 2 lost some serious steam, but there's still time. Let's see. I wish more attention was paid to details on the lost girls' appearance as weeks in the wild turn into months. They're all far too polished and healthy looking for people living off roots and deer jerky.

Incredibly overrated, if I was to go past episode 6 of a show I would choose The 100 over this one. I feel like The 100 had more momentum. This show was one step forward three steps back the whole way. Also none of the characters are likeable.
