I miss when this format was just Charlie Brooker on a couch with Philomena Cunk and Barry Shitpeas via interview cutaways, not a big Netflix production with 85 writers jostling for position over trodden territory

Seems like quite a few people got upset that their views are being made fun of. That's not as good as Brooker's Wipes used to be but it's still decent.

I watched this before '2020' not knowing what to expect. Most of the humour came from the surprisingly excellent and funny performances from the likes of Grant, Channing, Milioti, Ullman and Kayo, who often were making a lot more of the weak material they were fed. As a satirical summary of the prior year, I would have liked it to be a bit darker and a bit more impartial, as while it's right to poke fun at right wing morons, the liberals got off way too easy in comparison.

"Yeah, hi, we need something to make Don't Look Up look like a razor-sharp satire...?"

Still pretty funny.

Some political references and joeks were nice. BUT hahahaha f'in woke Dems strikes again. First of all, i have been vaccinated 4 times. Vax is good. However it's literally 2022 and you're really still talkin about the MASK REQUIREMENT? Bullshit. It's ridiculous to wear a mask outdoors. Something i expect from woke people tho. I think antisocial and cowardly people are quite happy to have Covid among us. Covid must be the cure for their sorrow hahaha.
