If I'm rooting for children to die, it's not a good film.

Tek mekanda geçen 1 korku filmi. Anne ve 2 kızı, ıssız bir gölde evde tatil yapmaya gider. Kızlar, ormanda sofra görür. Ormanda gizli biri vardır. Evden kaçmak için aile, elinden geleni yapacaktır. Filmin ilk yarısı çöp, olay örgüsü başlayınca ilginçleşiyor. Alice, hikayesinin donelerini kulan kullan bitmiyor. Filmin sonunda, Anne, kızlarını kurtarıyor. Seri katil John, yaratıcı olup Teksas kasabı olmasaydı. Bugünlerde beni yaşatmayan biri var.

Illiadis's weakest work. Tired motifs of children's books and nursery rhymes are ineffectively 'creepy'. Story was built backwards around an uninspired antagonist concept. All Strohovski does as the lead is go through the motions of mothering her draining tamagochi daughters. All they do is cry, whimper, snivel and puke. In a climate where kids are carrying solid horror works as IT and Stranger things; their characterization is the weakest aspect.

The first part or the rasing action if we talk in movie talk it is very good with Mystery and the Horror of not knowing who or what is there, the dark scenes are awesome. After that is just a regular Survival Horror movie and it is a kind of a comedown.
