Cigarette, whiskey and you... That's my only relief.

Enjoyable in spite of itself. (What is with the sitcom music? Completely undermines the tone.) The protagonist’s stoic nature is interesting, and the deadpan comedy is effective. Gets a bit cheesy in the third act.

A nice indie drama about an aimless woman reconnecting with her old band mates who are all in very different life stages. I thought it was a fitting portrait of how some friendships grow apart and others can pick up right where they left off.

Absolutely wonderful character construction. The title describes perfectly what the movie is about. Outstanding overall.

Absolutely gorgeous (albeit somewhat social-media glossy) framing. S-tier expressiveness on the protagonist. Quite a good little movie that just didn't land with me the way it deserved. (1 scene threatens a harsh tonal shift & suddenly introduces a dream sequence/what-if scene, but the film keeps things light by playing goofy Mr. Bean-type muzak to ensure viewers they're not watching Audition. If you're that afraid of spooking the audience, perhaps simply don't hint at that kind of tension?)

Its quite a gentle, almost hum drum and yet ocassionally touching film. It's primarily about the mundanity of daily domestic life in Korea and follows close knit characters. There is an element of isolation portrayed at times, though the people do share some time with others and open up about their hopes, frustations etc. but in other scenes, its clearly shown that they have to spend time on their own. I liked the scenes featuring parents - the inter-generational culture clash type aspect.

Decent production, but doesn't have anything to say really and suffers from bad music and acting.

The main character's maturity level was transcendent. Her reactions (to other peoples' inconsiderate/selfish/otherwise bad behavior) and her kindness were both down to earth and zen-like at the same time. To me, this is what a role model's personality looks like. She is who I look up to.
