Jörg Buttgereit does a fuck-your-expectations sequel far better than Ulli Lommel.

10-12 minutes of laughably "grotesque" imagery mixed into a boring 110 minute package.

Like all too many sequels, this has a lot of filler

This movie put me to sleep, twice.

An improvement on the first one. This time the characterization is way stronger, making the love story come across way better. In its core this is movie about a closed off person who tries to open up and learn how to love. It just that her secret is indeed something really revolting. While it's better written, it still leans on shock value too much for my taste, this movie really doesn't need a drawn out nauseating footage of the dissection of a sealion.

The entire premise is built on fucking a corpse. It's a film that's made to offend, shock, and perhaps even titillate for some of the sick puppies out there. The director achieves what he sets out to do but the entire exercise still feels like a student film lesson in shock value. Nothing great here but it's "entertaining" if you are curious about this sort of schlock that does play with the boundaries of what is socially acceptable in film.

Not as good as the first one, but it still got enough guts and power.But only for fans of that "special genre"
