I imagine the only reason these well loved actors starred in this is the same reason men do anything; to see Megan Fox naked.

Wow, this was terrible! Poorly concieved and made without an ounce of talent, the only thing this has going for it is some big names. Megan Fox (sporting bird wings) delivers the best performance of the film; make of that what you will but you've been warned.

Passion Play is bearable, but not necessarily worth your time. There's a reason it got an incredibly limited theatrical release. It's too silly to take seriously, even if all of the actors manage to keep a straight face -- out of boredom, a lack of interest or other reasons -- whenever they're shown on-camera. I wouldn't call this a bad film, and there's some enjoyment to be had, but it's mostly a worthless flick, especially once the (fitting, in my opinion) ending rolls around.

An interesting set-up, but not well executed and it's been done before.

The only thing I knew about this movie going into it is that it was the worst movie of 2010-2011. It is bad, but not as insanely bad as other movies I've seen. It's just a bizarre piece of work that does not have much life behind it. For a movie about a bad man potentially falling in love with a literal angel and trying to save her from the clutches of evil, this film is just so blah. Mickey Rourke and Megan Fox are the leads and possibly the worst parts about the film.

It is obvious that the director totally lost in the way how the shoot a film, but unlike the other reviews it seems to me that if it made otherwise, and in another atmosphere of the film (more noir or comic way) would have been extremely good. Shame.

A film that's not afraid to confront its viewers with some tough questions. Questions like how does Mickey Rourke still find work? And why the hell is Bill Murray appearing in this piece of shit? The director was aiming at some kind of metaphysical love story with an arthouse feel but missed completely.

Megan Fox makes any movie worth watching. Great cast but weird story.

Beautiful......that face, that complexion, those big puffy lips, the hair....everything. And,Jesus, when those tits came out it was, wow, full on boner territory. Yep,Mickey Rourke sure is a hottie.

It was ok until the last 2 minutes when I got seriously angered by the major plot twist. If you're going to have a twist that puts everything you've just watched into a frame, what should happen is that as you thought you had pieced the jigsaw together but the completed puzzle reveals a different picture than expected, you should get a little buzz from it. The problem with this film is that when you re-evaluate the plot in this new context you realise what you've watched was just meaningless.

This movie has a really bad script. The characters are not well written, there seems to be no reason for a lot of their actions. The special effects in the final scene come across as cheesy. The actors do the best they can with this material. Definitely skip this lackluster drama.
