The Castle Within the Castle

Decent short doc about a castle built on another castle and the restoration thereof but nothing particularly noteworthy.

Nothing special but interesting to see for Dreyer's characteristic ascetic style even in this short documentary.

Similar to Dreyer's short about the Danish village church, using models and drawings to show architectural and historical elements in quite a cinematic way. The earlier documentary on churches was probably more historically interesting, but this benefits from some very well-composed imagery.

Nothing worthwhile here, don't bother.
