A very important portrait of an ongoing, treatable problem, with a strong and worthwhile mixture of anecdote and statistics. The people who question the the existence of the campus rape epidemic should be interviewed, and their reactions should be the sequel.

A piece of radical feminist rape hysteria propaganda that relies on deception, outright lies, and repeatedly debunked advocacy statistics to weave its web of utter horse pucky. It is also a shame that Dick, who once stood for freedom of speech with This Film is Not Yet Rated, has used Title IX as a political cudgel for criticism of this piece of dreck, but it shouldn't be surprising that a man who did a documentary on a postmodernist like Derrida has a problematic relationship with the truth.

A pile of radical feminist non-sense. The documentary constantly uses bogus statistics such as "1 in 5 females will be sexually violated in college" which has been a statistic long been debunked by academics and holds no real basis in reality. Anyone who is willing to believe this pile of shit likely can't think critically for themselves and only buys into it because it suits their agenda. Here's a good video on why the film is trash: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uTqR-PUf4Y

Shocking and upsetting and well-edited, but it fell squarely in the camp of documentary as manipulator as opposed to storyteller.

Takes some heavy handed liberties with the statistics and is far from impartial when deciding who to believe, but the problem is real and the stories worth telling.

I am unable to give this doc a proper review. I think it should be seen. The backlash against this film would be comical in its predictability if it wasn't so depressing to watch people vehemently fight for the status quo.

This documentary is a fantastic dive into the systemic causes of the epidemic of sexual assault on college campuses. It mixes statistics and anecdotal stories which it takes at face value as true. I know it's received some criticism for the statistics which people in denial say can't be true but the sad reality is it is true and there is massive incentive to cover up these heinous crimes especially when commited by rich alumni children, athletes, and sororities.

Oh my god...I had no idea that sexual assaults on college campuses were such a big issue. And I guess that's exactly the point of this documentary. I'm shocked about the way the victims were treated by the college deans and presidents. As if it was all their fault. Respect for the two victims that turned into heroes by coming forward and speaking out about this issue.

Grassroot movement among rape victims as big American colleges tries to hush down the high sexual assault statistics. If these numbers and how these brand educational institutions handle the complaints is true, then that's a gigantic tragedy. These are schools we associate with respect and justice, yet they fail their own for the fear of losing money. The documentary focuses exclusively on the girls (and guys) fighting for their cause, and one would like to hear things from the accused sides.
