But the situation turns ugly for Don Ortega when Roberto is set up for a murder he did not commit.

Dan Burke is after a mail contract and Stevens through his henchman Keno is out to stop him. When Burke's son Larry brings the payroll he is murdered and the Three Mesquiteers blamed. Young Tim Burke breaks them out of jail and they start the timed mail run to obtain the contract. But Keno and his men plan to stop them by using dynamite to make a road block.

The Cherokee Strip is off limits to the Rangers, so that is where badman Lemar operates from. When the Rangers capture his brother and the jury sentences him to hang, Lemar starts killing the jurists. Then the scoundrels kidnap the Captain's daughter Doris.

The Mesquiteers return to Texas after the Civil War to find Army carpetbaggers fighting the local bushwhackers. They quickly learn that Capt. Hawks and his men are the culprits and join up with Morgan and his men.

Daggett is out to stop the completion of an oil well. He cheats Foster at poker and then forces him to delay the drilling. But the Mesquiteers are on the job with Lullaby posing as a cleaning lady to get evidence.

The local gang is framing men for bank robbery, shooting them, and then collecting the reward money offered for a dead bank robber. When the Three Mesquiteers ride into town, Lullaby becomes their next victim. He avoids being shot but is assumed to be a bank robber and to keep him from talking, the gang organizes a lynch mob. Tucson and Stony save him from the rope but they are now wanted men and must find out who is behind this scheme.

It is 1937, but the life out West has not changed much. The boys are working at the Wyoming ranch of Captain Marvin herding horses which he sells to Kurt Redman. Marvin will not sell any horses to any army, but the boys find out that Redman is a German agent shipping the horses directly to the Third Reich. Accused of murder in Sonora, Rocky Camron fled and the Trail Blazers now have him in their custody. He claims he was framed so the Trail Blazers plan to take him back so he can prove his innocence. But Honest John found the ring on the floor when Crandall, the real killer, played in his card game. Crandall kills Honest John to keep him silent. But Tom now finds the clue that will lead him to the killer.

Jim Brandon returns from prison having been framed for robbery. At the time of the robbery his partner supposedly committed suicide. Jim's first break in proving his innocence comes when he finds the fatal bullet does not match the weapon that was used.

Plummer is still not suspected when McDowell's wife is kidnapped and the outlaws demand the big gold shipment be sent unguarded. So McDowell heads out alone to face the gang with a load of gunpowder instead of gold and only a few trusted

In his final B western, Bob Steele is Sam Webb, an ex-outlaw gone straight. When the Cherokee Kid is broken out of jail Rocky questions Sam. Cherokee was in Sam's gang which has now been taken over by respected townsman Oakes. Just as Rocky convinces Sam to talk, Oakes has Sam shot. Oakes then plans to lure Rocky into a trap and also finish off Sam.
