10 Apaches (1977) - Rated 02 Jul 2014
"Filmed in February of 1977, Apaches was the first of three well-made long-form PIF's to come out in 1977/78. This little gem is also the best of the three. Expertly directed by John Mackenzie and with a great script by Neville Smith, Apaches expertly handles its topic of farm safety. The deaths in this film can be disturbing at times (Sharon's off-camera death from weed killer poisoning is downright NIGHTMARISH) but overall, the film has a delightfully dark and dream-like atmosphere. MUST-SEE."
10 The Muppet Movie (1979) - Rated 27 Jun 2014
9 The Muppets (2011) - Rated 27 Jun 2014
10 Gravity (2013) - Rated 22 Jun 2014
"What more can I really say about Gravity that hasn't already been said. Director Alfonso Cuaron has given us a masterpiece of film making. One of the coolest things about it is the long takes with few cuts; Cuaron is a master of the art of the continuous shot. The plot is strong, and the acting from Bullock and Clooney is fantastic as well. The visual effects are some of the best I've ever seen in a movie. It won 7 Oscars (including Best Director for Cuaron) and deserved all of them. MUST SEE!"
8 Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011) - Rated 22 Jun 2014
"The third installment in the Transformers series proves to be an improvement over the disappointing second film. As usual with Michael Bay's movies, the visual effects and the sound are both top notch. There's not much in the way of good acting or plot, but I was still entertained throughout the movie. I saw it in 3-D and the effects were the best for any 3-D movie since Avatar, even though this movie is better."
10 The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977) - Rated 22 Jun 2014
"Made up of three classic Winnie the Pooh theatrical shorts plus a few minutes of added footage, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is a timeless, charming and endlessly entertaining classic in its own right that the entire family can enjoy. A true masterpiece and a MUST-SEE."
10 Titanic (1997) - Rated 22 Jun 2014
"I have already seen this masterpiece about 200 or 300 times in the last 16 years, and I can safely tell your that this is far and away James Cameron's greatest movie in my opinion, and I don't care who tries to tell me otherwise. Don't pay attention to the haters, watch it for yourself. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. MUST-SEE."
7 Avatar (2009) - Rated 22 Jun 2014
"The visual effects are AMAZING, the music, cinematography, and art direction are beautiful, and the actual direction of the movie is solid as well. The acting and the screenplay, not quite so much. It's actually a fairly good movie by all means, but it's still a step down from Cameron's magnum opus Titanic. You can get through it once or twice."
10 Toy Story 3 (2010) - Rated 22 Jun 2014
"A fitting and emotional conclusion to one of the best trilogies ever made."
9 Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin (1997) - Rated 22 Jun 2014
"For a Disney direct-to-video release, this is incredibly well made. Unlike most DTV releases these days, this film shows almost as much effort as a theatrical film. One of the best films of my childhood, and very highly underrated."
