Howl's Moving Castle (2004) - Rated 01 May 2010

Not one of his best. The mythology and mastery of craftsmanship make this well worth a viewing. His attempt at emotional consistency while sacrificing logical consistency is interesting and works, but does not reach the heights of Naussica, Spirited Away, or Mononoke.

Meet the Feebles (1989) - Rated 01 May 2010

This is a foul, amoral send up of the Muppets. The fact that it exists is reason enough to see it.

For Love of the Game (1999) - Rated 01 May 2010

Interesting construction. Features the late, great Tigers Stadium. However, it is ultimately forgettable.

Nosferatu (1922) - Rated 01 May 2010

This is a movie that defines what good movies are. It remains satisfying to watch on every level. Between those two elements this is as perfect a film as exists.
