MovieMan

When it comes to family togetherness, love and quality time are thicker than blood, water or just about any other social glue you can think of. Iron Man 2 (2010) - Rated 09 May 2010

Downey's head and heart are in the right place, but the movie is more in pieces than whole, and more about iron than about men.

The Losers (2010) - Rated 30 Apr 2010

Kick-Ass (2010) - Rated 30 Apr 2010

Fusing teen comedy, bad-boy raunch, Tarantino-style gonzo mayhem, and tossing in a bloodthirsty little girl vigilante who swears like Steve Buscemi in a Coen brothers movie, the film has its moments of high-flying, low-down style. It's also nowhere near as subversive as it thinks it is.

Date Night (2010) - Rated 30 Apr 2010

It's an uneven proposition, veering wildly from genuinely funny scenes directly into ridiculousness and back again. But every time Shawn Levy's movie makes that journey, it's harder to get back on solid footing.

Letters to God (2010) - Rated 30 Apr 2010

Letters to God is far too simplistic and pandering to find success outside of the targeted church-going family moviegoers it's hoping to reach.
