Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) - Rated 24 Nov 2021
Kinda boring and forgettable. Extended CGI action sequences don't enthrall me like it used to do.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021) - Rated 18 Nov 2021
Quite tacky and formulaic but has its charms. Some of the fight scenes are pretty good and makes good use of the surroundings. Tony Leung is great. Awkwafina has some fun lines but her plot seems a bit shoehorned in.

Red Notice (2021) - Rated 17 Nov 2021
Pretty average movie overall, but the chemistry between Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson is pretty good, and Gal Gadot is very lovely and charismatic. There were a couple of moments that made me crack up. All in all, quite entertaining

Dune (2021) - Rated 10 Nov 2021
Started a bit slow but very captivating and gorgeous film. I'm not familiar with the novel/franchise so there were quite a few names and terminologies that left me puzzled.

Fun little movie. Loved the songs.

Free Guy (2021) - Rated 29 Oct 2021
A bit of classic Ryan Reynold's humor I guess, somewhat of a hit and miss. It has its moments, but never really builds up to much.

The Old Guard (2020) - Rated 19 Jul 2020
Action sequences are slick. But otherwise plays like yet another run of the mill action movie. The immortality aspect could be interesting but they didn't really explore it as much.
