Adam Sandler: 100% Fresh

Dark memories of singing Adam Sandler comedy songs in front of elementary school classes. I was able to memorize Lunch Lady Land but god forbid my brain would dabble with long division.

Tough to rate. Has a couple good jokes, a couple funny songs (I did really enjoy the hero songs), and a couple nice sentimental moments at the end, but plenty fall flat. Biggest problem is so many shows edited together with his short bits made it feel kinda slow and not have a ton of flow. But I've seen Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots do stand up and this is miles ahead of that so it gets some extra credit.

One good song. The rest awful.

Funny, goofy and clever songs and bits. As to the few sentimental moments: I didn't mind them, even kind of liked them.

I wanted to give it a try because people were praising this and I couldn't imagine Adam Sandler doing stand-up. So what should you expect? Errrrrrrrrrr ... It's a series of disjointed jokes, stitched together from what seems like 100 different stand-up shows. There's no through line or really any sort of structure to what's happening on screen. I smiled at one punchline.

Not gonna lie, this was pretty fun. There was a big blast of nostalgia as I remembered my teenage years with Sandler albums on repeat. The format and pace was fresh, the songs and comedy were top tier Sandler.
