Written by people playing with action figures rather than actual writers, as evidenced by none of the characters changing their outfit at any point regardless of circumstance. Awful, just awful dialogue. All of the characters are colossal morons. All of the events are made entirely irrelevant by the movies. The fighting isn't even that good. I do not understand what people are enjoying about this.

The writing is barely better than the other mandoverse projects. However, the characters and story are a bit more compelling, the score is great, and there are multiple aliens and droids as main characters! Wow the bar is so low for Star Wars these days... But I do like this one.

Star Wars: Ahsoka really worked for me. It doesn’t reach the level of Andor —nothing does after that masterpiece— but it gets close enough to deserve a solid 9. Seeing Sabine, Ezra, and even Thrawn again was a thrill. Rosario Dawson nails Ahsoka, and Dave Filoni continues the Rebels legacy with care, ambition, and a touch of melancholy. The show is crafted with love, and while the pace is slow at times, it allows the big moments to breathe. But here’s the thing: what about viewers who haven’t s

It's the best-looking Disney+ show since The Mandalorian and also sticks closest to the feeling of the original trilogy. Dawson is great in anything she does and even looks good in most of her fight scenes and Thrawn seems like an excellent, if underused, bad guy. But, I just can't help not caring. I never cared to learn who Darth Vader was as a kid, nor who his padawan was, nor any of these other characters. Great-looking wallpaper.

I technically watched a fan film edit that ditched all the unnecessary fluff and left 2.5 hours remaining. Even then you really wouldn't be missing out if you never watched this.

I really enjoyed this show. If you watched Star Wars Rebels and Clone Wars, I think you'll find a lot to love about Ahsoka. I do think much like other Disney+ shows, it's too short, and so the story feels limiting in some ways, but what we do get was pretty good. I do like how it explored some concepts not too common with Star Wars, and seems to further be developing the pre-sequel timeline well.

This is perhaps my second favorite Star Wars production after Empire Strikes Back. The ending is weak, but the mythology is amazing, and the atmosphere is perfect. I loved Stevenson. He is of the best “villains” in the universe.

A pretty uncompelling entry into the Star Wars universe. Rosario Dawson does what she can, but the rest of the cast is so underwritten and stiffly acted that her efforts are wasted. The villains are either silly or boring and I still don't get the stakes for why any of this is in any way important. Most of the series just feels half-baked - like there were some good ideas that just got rushed or cut out - and, as a result, it all feels pretty empty.

The first couple of episodes were characters I didn't know standing around smirking while reminiscing about something that happened in an animated show 10 years ago, but eventually the plot kicked in, and I must admit, what Filoni is doing with expanding the Star Wars lore, is much more interesting than anything in the sequel trilogy,

Ehhhhh. I don't think it's terrible, I just don't think a lot of it. For people who already know these characters, maybe they get something from it, I struggled to care to be honest. There is a difference between a measured pace and just downright slow. A shame, Star Wars has a literal universe of possibilities, in particular the "Jedi as samurai/ronin" thing. But it ain't here.

PROS: Ahsoka was great as a character. Rosario Dawson's performance brought back a bit of of the childlike wonder I had for the Jedi. The visuals were excellent. It developed its themes well. CONS: Badly paced plot, padding things out low-stakes fight scenes. I am *very bad* at predicting stories but I predicted every major plot point. Too much backstory from other shows! OVERALL: I kind of didn't like it but I kind want them to make another season.

Fairly promising entry helped by the depth of familiar characters. If it truly leads into some Heir of the Empire stuff , it should be a fun ride. It wasn't boring, the leads have chemistry and the effects are serviceable. Will keep watching.

Solid, but still feels like a build-up to something rather than an actual thing of worth eo ipso. The most interesting character also unfortunately goes nowhere.

Ok so general thoughts watching all eight episodes - virtually no conclusion to anything; the story does not seem like it was very well planned out. Still it arguably is the best tonal follow up to the prequel trilogy if that’s “your” version of Star Wars (certainly more so than the Obi-wan show, sadly). Some of the Jedi action is kinda cool. Still though it has some annoying characters and bits that feel very YA (especially the Sabine and Ezra characters). Ray Stevenson was badass, RIP.

Better than Kenobi but nowhere near as good as Andor, so on par with Mandalorian? Maybe would be better if I had watched Rebels.

Although there is so much to like in this SW iteration, the core of the story is an overdose of a feminine narrative, so much so that this feels like Star Wars for girls. You know how Lego has gazillion models for boys and then there are a few special sets just for girls, kinda like that.
