Too obviously high on its own supply of "Deviant but fun, you know?" A few lingering dramatic crane shots of girls moving away for the prestige-tv factor. This may be based on true events, it might even be 99% close to the real events, yet nowhere in the overproduced pilot it resembles anything realistic; rendering the potentially interesting story inert. The needledrops are LOUD moodkillers, slaps in the face, and the final straw to quit. I don't think i like Egerton very much, ever..

The ending feels a bit rushed and the story's slightly disappointing, but the performances and some good film making really hold it up.

Well acted, compelling, and I give it credit for seemingly staying accurate. But it may tread a bit close towards sympathy for the killer. Part of me wonders if they exaggerated the killers eccentric traits.

Incredible acting and a suspenseful plot. Dialogue is a little stiff in places, but still a gripping watch.

We get so many stories of serial killers that try to tackle the psychology of the killer. This is one of the few that does so in a way that feels authentic. Absolute powerhouse performances by both leads.

It is a malicious series that builds its tension only between the murderer and the proof, and never takes care of 22 girls whose bodies are still not found, but on the contrary, asks us to feel sorry for the murderer. He also has such a shallow plot.. I'm sorry, but he can't even get past Mindhunter...

Nowhere near Mindhunter, neither script nor acting apart from maybe Hauser. I guess Lehane cashed in on this one.

Almost as good as Mindhunter. It's just more barebones and reduced to few characters, but the gripping aspect is there.

Just wow. First two episode are wonderful. RIP, Ray Liotta.
