Bob's Burgers centers on the Belcher family (consists of Bob, Linda, Tina, Gene and Louise) who own a hamburger restaurant. Bob's burgers are really delicious and appear to be better than his rivals' but when it comes to selling burgers, his kids aren't really helpful, as more customers head over to Jimmy Pesto's restaurant. I really like the seaside wharf settings, which are a nice departure from the usual animated sitcom suburbs, and Bob himself, who is likable grounding presence. The kids vary - they are very one note, sometimes hilarious, sometimes grating. I've actually gotten a bit tired of the show, but in its season 2 peak it was one of my favorites on television. "Burgerboss" is one of the best TV comedy episodes of 2012.

I view Bob's Burgers as a worthy successor to King of the Hill: not stellar but consistent and solid and above all, likable. Like King of the Hill, the characters feel more like real people than jokes on legs. Bob's Burgers stands out amongst other animated comedies for its use of music: funny, diverse, and clever. You won't bust a gut, but you'll probably like whatever episode you just watched.

I really do love 'Bob's Burgers'. Beautifully voiced and well crafted in all departments. The shows tone and comic timing are superbly judged.

Not great, but quirky enough with clever writing to get by for a decent binge watching option.

Bob's Burgers is like a miracle of adult animated comedy. H Jon Benjamin has been a fan favorite of mine for years, but he's only truly special when he's constantly exasperated like here. Give him two annoying children, a drama queen east coast stereotype of a wife, and an eldest daughter whose man-voice is like honey to my comedic ears, and somehow enough people are still watching. Thank you to the fans. Seriously. This show is so fucking good and I can't believe it has a healthy lifespan now.

notable mostly for being the only family sitcom i can think of where the funniest characters are the kids, and the funniest kids are the daughters.

If you like watching utter crap, then I highly recommend this.

Conventional in most ways, albeit more urban than usual and notably modern in its naturalistic, sometimes semi-improvised approach to recording dialogue, Bob's Burgers plays pretty safe by its time's standards but does offer intelligent humor. Has at least some of the strengths of another Jim Dauterive penned series, King of the Hill.

A show with the heart and charm that The Simpsons achieved during their glory years.

This show truly used to be great, but for the past several seasons it has lost a certain something. It's still an entertaining show overall, but the new seasons are more of a time waster than actual entertainment.

I don't get it. I find the characters pretty unappealing, and the humor's more miss than hit. It doesn't hold me.

Pretty much every episode I've watched of this show was an utter bore. I'm not sure why this gets so much praise. It's the most generic family sitcom imaginable with none of the bite of something like The Simpsons or any of the characterization that elevated King of the Hill. The latter comparison particularly baffles me. King of the Hill offered a unique insight on Texan conservative culture with often biting insight, but Bob's Burger says little about America and is tepid at best.

Watched this. Supposed to be one of those cartoons for adults. Didn't like it.

(Seasons 1-4) After getting over the ugliness of the characters I've grown somewhat attached to this show. However the good-but-not-greatness, the writers' love of their ability to follow the rules, becomes more and more apparent with each season; the episodes are respectable enough on paper but even the best ones don't seem to gain much by having been brought to life, despite an all-around excellent voice cast.

Again, like most shows this never exactly improves as time goes on and the last season in particular was blah but at best it's about as good as late-season Home Movies so there's that i guess?

Although the early edgy seasons could be a bit jarring, the episodes felt more substantial and character building. At this point the characters are done growing.
