Preachy and boring eco-propaganda, but it did give us this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwJaELXadKo

It was fine for what it was. Promoted a good message to kids and had a catchy theme song.

What especially made this show age poorly is the heavy-handed environmentalism that overshadowed most other aspects of the show. Still, the five planeteers were likable enough, Whoopi Goldberg as Gaia was solid... the villains were very over the top hammy. It'll give you catchphrases and it dealt with some heavy themes, but that wasn't enough for me to call this a good show.

He's taking pollution down to 0. One of my all time fav theme songs when they ended the show. Decent cartoon..Would have been a lot better with a storyline.

Poorly animated and a waste of a talented cast. Heart in the right place but not entertaining at all.

It's honestly pretty mindblowing how such a bland, boring show managed to stay on air for as long as it did. Not only that, but it also managed to get some pretty big stars to lend their voices. It's basically like any other enviro show in that it's more caught up proselytizing its agenda rather than really telling a good or at least entertaining story. The only time its mildly entertaining is when it tries weird shit like the awkward civil rights episode or the one time they had Hitler appear.
