Having an unapologetic narcissist as the protagonist of a kids' show was more interesting in concept than execution, as the show never fully exploited its hard-edged satirical possibilities (this is still Disney, after all). Still, the show is perfectly watchable with some laughs here and there.

Even as a 13-14 year old who was more into chasing girls than playing with toys and watching cartoons, this show still managed to capture my attention. I was always more into the villains of movies and tv shows, since the heroes were always boy scouts, but Darkwing was more into the glory of capturing criminals more so than doing it for the greater good, which made him appealing. The villains here were pretty good too, especially Negaduck!

Sort an interesting premise where the hero isn't really heroic, but more a bumbling glory hound. Not a strong supporting group but for kids I imagine this is still fairly funny.

I did enjoy this one as a kid (I even taped a two-parter on VHS once), but I went back and rewatched a few episodes a year or two ago and was surprised how much poorly it has aged than DuckTales, which I still enjoy.

Great Musics, inconsistent animation. Cool & Funny premise but poor execution.

OK show. It's about a Super Hero that fails in everything he does.

The humor and zany personalities of this show, combined with the very different hero who's in it for the glory more than the virtue just sells it. You also won't find a child as unique as Gosalyn in any 90s cartoon series.
