This is surprisingly entertaining. A little bit West Wing and a little bit 24, it ends up being a slightly sillier than intended whodunnit. It's weakening as it goes on, but you could do worse.

West Wing with more thriller elements, I guess. Nothing grabbed enough to keep watching week to week right now, but if reviews are good maybe I'll check out season 1 next summer.

A devastating terrorist attack wipes out an entire government. The fate of a nation is at stake. And 4 episodes in, one of the major plot lines is "will they fuck?"

It bosts come strong political themes and it certainly does entertain for the most part even it seems highly unlikely this would happen. The cast is talented, the story is alright and the action is few and far between. It paces itself well and allows for moments of softer light hearted family memories to help us understand just how far these characters have come to be who they are for this particular moment. It is definitely better than majority of television.

*rezil olmayan* her tür politik gerilimin meczubu olarak ilk 12 bölüm 12 boktan *politik ortamlı aksiyonvâri film* gibi izleniyor ancak 13.bölümle rezil kategorisine dahil olmaya başlıyor. hani yine eğlenceli mi? meh.

"The one thing I do know about chess is that there's nothing more dangerous than a pawn that thinks it's a queen." They were so proud of this line they put up the clip on their official twitter account: https://twitter.com/abcdesignated/status/800720176127864832

It's just ok, but nothing more. It lacks the gripping part, due to medium acting and pace I guess.

This is really solid entertainment, but not quite good enough for staying with it. (4 episodes)

1st season could be easily a 70 for me, but I really couldn't finish 2nd season. Once the terrorist attack wears out it's just a less than average politic drama, it gets boring, characters were never relevant enough (only the designated survivor concept was) and just looks like too mild. Somehow, it reminds me Prison Break. Both series look like a good one season concept that maybe could last longer if there was something more than a concept supporting all the weight.

First half of season 1 was actually pretty good. Then it became lame and forced. Then season 2 became under the dome levels of awkward to watch. Glad it didn't get renewed.

Modern television crap. Inane dialogue, stone-faced acting, boring visuals and editing. -- Maybe I'll watch season 1 to the end, but only because I have nothing else to do.

Season 1 is good but after that it's a drag. Keifer is good only as long as he doesn't have to emote. And post season 1, he has to emote more frequently

This show started off really strong, but it quickly became apparent that they didn't know what to do with the conspiracy plot line, and it became a more traditional presidential drama, which was okay, but not as interesting. The final season on Netflix did amp things up a little in some ways, but it was never able to recreate the excitement of the beginning of the series, and unfortunately ended on a cliffhanger.

First episode is really good. Goes down quick from there. The whole FBI plot line just got stupid and I couldn't take it anymore.

First half of S01 was pretty good. After that they started to stretch it and add in more and more irrelevant side stories. And based on last episode of S01 I knew they are gonna stretch it even more now. Together with recommendations of other people, I have decided to not watch after that. PS: Italia Ricci is hot.

Solid entertainment. No complicated story, but interesting enough to keep watching. Good if you want something that's relaxing and not a comedy.

This is a great political suspense drama. I don't know how grounded it is to real-life politics, but it certainly helps a non-political civilian to comprehend the amount of quid pro quo and underhanding that goes behind the political stage. (Review based on first season.)

Propaganda as pure and uncut as an ISIS beheading video. Radical "centrism" is truly a disease of the mind, so is alcoholism. This awful, mumbling performance, clearly someone who should be getting help.

Based on the first several episodes... a great premise with practically limitless possibilities and a good cast are fatally sabotaged by witless, cliché-ridden writing. I shouldn't be surprised--it's network TV, which must pander to the lowest common denominator (the days where a show like The West Wing is possible are, sadly, gone forever). If the writing doesn't improve, I may not survive the first season myself. (Edit: Season 1 did improve somewhat. Kal Penn is almost reason enough to watch.)

Not worth my time. I watched whole season 1 with hopes that it would get better. It just got sillier.
