Elizabeth is missing

Evokes an interesting discussion about the difficult, but relevant, topic of dementia. The story mixes up various characters and settings, which portrays the confusion of dementia well.

Watched in tribute to Jackson (1936-2023). Hard to believe that this was her first screen work in 27 years - she effortlessly commands the screen with a moving and beautifully-controlled performance. The central mystery is compelling enough, but it's her superb work that holds the attention. The flashback scenes are rather clumsily-integrated and add surprisingly little but this is a reminder of just what an immense talent was lost when Jackson stepped away into her estimable political career.
