A better special than Alcoholocaust because it's shorter and the stories have a pinch more jokes in them. Other than that, more lame obvious jokes at typical targets.

Not as continuously great as his latest special, but still has some great moments and stories involved.

The opening half has some great moments but ultimately falls short of his previous specials because he is doing more typical material instead of telling a story. And Jefferies is one of the best at telling a story, which is why the second half is a home run. Overall a good special, but nowhere near as impressive as Alcoholocaust.

Jefferies is always enjoyable to watch, yet "Fully Functional" is less tight than usual and serves as a weak moment in his career. It does have some highlights, such as his rant against anti-gay-marriage people or the palpable misery of the coke wank bit, but a lot of it is only moderately funny, including some jokes that seem like rehashes of older stuff of his. Finally, the super-long bit that closes the special is rather awkward as it attempts a dangerous balance and doesn't quite succeed.

I think Jim Jefferies may be my long lost Australian brother. I'm still working out whether or not that is a good thing.
