Season 1 is full of bad plot moments and serves as a pilot for a season 2 that will never happen. At least the actors tried. Big oof.

A pastiche of the superhero genre with a soapie sheen to make up for its lacking CGI and special effects. The supposed $200 million put into the show are nowhere to be seen. But it's fine. The wigs are the most offensive thing about it. P.S. There's no reason to watch this, as the first season only really exists to set up a more exciting second season, and sadly the series has been cancelled after its debut.

Boring flashbacks, clumsy plot, and Josh Duhamel is pretty bad, but it kept my interest and had some pretty amazing battle scenes for a TV show.

Jupiter's Legacy is a yet another superhero show in a world saturated with superhero shows. It isn't bad, but it covers too much familiar ground without doing anything particularly well nor novel. Splitting its narrative between between a prohibition/depression-era origin story and a less interesting modern legacy plot, the show doesn't manage to strike the right balance with each, causing a few pacing issues. Bibb & Lanter have the most interesting roles, from a relatively forgettable cast.

Has its moments and does maybe just enough to stand out in an overcrowded genre. Clearly rather clunky and flawed in terms of plotting, etc. but I was lazy enough to give it the benefit of doubt. Ultimately though does not do enough to warrant a second season.

It is a slow burn but that's only because it would have been better broken down into two parts. The past story plays out first followed by the present. So we can see how much has changed and why leaving a legacy is so important. It took that away by being slow paced. It just didn't help with so much exposure to these kind of superheroes. I wanted this to be a better, darker version but it simply wasn't.
