It's a pretty compelling story and, better yet, almost all involved are colorful. Some are very self-aware and introspective, which also adds a nice dimension. The direction is snappy and it keeps things entertaining throughout, though I do think this could have been stronger as 5 or even 4 episodes instead of 6.

Didn't really need to be a series, a feature length doc could have told this story perfectly well. The initial intrigue is resolved quickly and the latter half plays out as a less engrossing procedural. Doug Matthews is super entertaining, but when I step back and realize this guy is an actual FBI agent, I find it pretty worrying. Call me cynical, but I'm not a fan of accident prone guys who can't sit still and are always itching for action being given guns and governmental authority.

Mostly interesting account of a snowballing criminal enterprise. Probably could’ve been told in two less episodes.

A solid compelling documentary full of interesting characters and a crazy story that was buried in the news media cycle by 9/11. It suffers from the same problem as many documentaries do especially true crime documentaries in that it runs a little too long. It would've been better served if it had told a tighter story and cut one or two episodes out.

Yet another documentary series that is way too long for the subject they are covering. This film does it worse in that the filmmakers have interviewed some people who show up for one sentence and then they are never seen again. The story is told almost in full pretty early on and we are left with these people that we don't care about telling stories that we wish would just end. Sure, its a crazy story, but did we really need 6 hours of this? The answer is no.

Just like Monopoly, it's exciting at first, but 6 hours later you don't care how it ends.

Good, but a bit long. The story could be told in just 4 episodes.

Wacky crazy crowd of characters surrounding a pretty hamfisted scam. Mostly interesting.

Probably the worst documentary I've ever watched. The story could have been told in about 90 minutes, but was padded out to 6 hours.

Entertaining re-telling of a great tale that barely got told when it first happened...mostly because the story broke right around 9-11. There's hardly a dull moment, and many of the characters involved are extremely colorful. The only misstep is the glib, jokey style that would be more appropriate to an episode of "Entourage"...I suppose Mark Wahlberg's name among the executive producers should have foretold it. At least that aspect of it improves as the series progresses.
